4 Days Twin Falls Adventure Malaysia

Situated 55km from Kuantan (Pahang, Malaysia), Berkelah & Jerangkang falls are drawn as ideal treks for beginners compared with the strenuous steep climbs of Ophir or Berlumut. A 4-wheel drive along muddy path brings us to the Jerangkang waterfall area consisting of several falls. The magnificent fall with 7 cascades, plunging into a small deep pool is an ideal place for swimming or just laze around the rocks. After camping a night at Jerangkang, we’ll back track by 4WD to Berkelah. Berkelah is an ideal place for first time trekkers to enjoy the beauty of nature. A relatively easy open terrain trek brings one to the Waterfall. The magnificent 50m fall, plunging into the deep pool is an ideal place for swimming or just laze around the rocks.

Itinerary Subject to changes

Day 1 Singapore to Jerangkang Falls
9.30 pm Assemble and depart by chartered vehicle/train from Johor Baharu.

Day 2 Jerangkang Falls (L,D)
5.30 am Arrive Berkelah Restaurant and rest
6.30 am Break for own breakfast.
7.00 am Transfer by 4-wheel drive/truck to Jerangkang falls campsite through logging trails.
8.00 am Arrive camp, set camp & relax
10.00 am Start trekking to view the tall waterfalls with daypack. The trek will take about 1.5 hours. Picnic lunch at main falls. Swim and relax there.
3.00 pm Return trek to campsite.
5.30 pm Prepare dinner and enjoy it after a wash-up. O/N tents


Day 3 Jerangkang Falls- Berkelah Falls (B,L,D)
7.00 am Breakfast & break camp.
8.00 am Return to trailhead by truck and to Berkelah trailhead
9.00 am Start of trail to campsite
11.00 am Arrive campsite, set tents and lunch
12.30 pm Start of trek to main falls. For those who like to relax, can stay at pool area near campsite.
2.30 pm Arrive main fall, rest and relax
3.30 pm Return trek to campsite
6.00 pm Dinner, O/N stay in tents

Day 4 Berkelah Falls – Singapore (B,L)
7.30 am Breakfast & break camp.
8.30 am Return trek to trailhead and continue by truck
11.30 am Meet vehicle for return journey. Lunch on the way
